Surface Prep & Cleanout

We trim back grass, weeds, and soil that overgrow the driveway’s edge to ensure a clean, professional workspace and strong seal around the patch.

Our team uses commercial blowers and heavy-duty brooms to remove loose debris, gravel, and dirt—prepping the area for optimal adhesion of cold patch asphalt.

All broken or loose asphalt around the pothole is cleared out to prevent future crumbling and ensure the patch holds up to weather and traffic.
2. PATCH FILL & SHAPING

We use high-quality cold patch asphalt—ideal for residential driveways and effective in all weather conditions.

The material is added and shaped by hand and trowel, ensuring every crevice and edge is fully packed and flush with surrounding pavement.

3. COMPACTION & FINISHING

Using hand tampers or a plate compactor, we apply pressure to lock the material in place and prevent settlement or shifting.

If applicable, we may apply a light, tar based driveway sealer over the patch to protect it further and visually unify the area with surrounding asphalt.

We complete a final inspection to ensure the patch is flush, compacted, and visually clean — ready for vehicle traffic and harsh weather.

After a final inspection of our work we fasten caution tape across the end of the driveway or around the patch to ensure nobody drives or walks on it.
